Our family escaped from scorching hot Dallas to Mission Beach for 5 extraordinary days. 2695 Oceanfront is a spectacular spot for young families. The ocean is right outside with great people watching opportunities - volleyball courts and beach traffic while still isolated from the busier areas of Mission Beach. Vehicle traffic was never a problem getting to any of San Diego's attractions from South Mission Beach.The accommodations are perfect for families that like to fill the refrigerator, stock the bar, and cook their own meals. When we weren't at Sea World or the Zoo, we were relaxing to the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean.
The view was wonderful - could see forever
We loved our stay at this property! It was bright, clean, comfortable with amazing views! One of the best surprises was the view of the Sea World fireworks out of the 2nd bedroom window! For us, the ONLY drawback was the garage parking space. I drive a Lincoln Navigator SUV. We had to fold in the mirrors and just barely squeezed in without adding racing stripes! Lots of things are within walking distance though!
This was our second time renting this Condo and we love it! Can't wait to go back:)

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation experience in the condo we rented from Sandy Beach Rentals. It's a great location, beautiful views. The gas grill didn't work, yet may be replaced soon! Otherwise, all else worked just fine, and was a nice, clean, comfortable, and spacious place to stay. Thumbs up!

The only complaint is the water heater did not work for more than 1 shower and we were the only ones staying there at the time i checked the condition of the water heater and it should be replaced it is very old and extremely rusted

We have verified that it could be turned up to a higher setting which will provide more hot water for showers. The appearance of the hot water heater has no impact on how well it produces the water but we have alerted our owner and he will be taking a look at it. Thank you so mcuh for the suggestion! One thing that didn't work was the DVD. Although the owner came out the same day I called to fix it, it never ended up working. Other than that I had a fantastic trip!
The beach house was absolutely wonderful. The views were incredible! The only problem we had was with ants, but Daphne had someone bring us some traps for them and after that, they were much better. When we didn't have toilet paper, some was left at our door immediately. Thank you Sandy Beach Rentals for making our stay great!

I loved the location. Right by the volleyball and basketball courts. Biking and the ocean right there. Great view. Enjoyed all we coule.

This home was a perfect getaway. It is located in the quiet part of the beach and has great access to just about anything. Booking was easy and we can't wait to return.
This is the second year in a row we have used Sandy Beach rentals, The first year was great, but the second your was much better. It is our plan to rent from them again next year. THANK YOU SANDY BEACH your the best.
Found the apartment very well set up - great location, quiet, great view. the kitchen was well set up and maintained.
The property Managers were absolutely wonderful! I would return to Sandy Beach Rentals simply because of them. Professional, courteous, communicative, etc. I loved the location of the property, gorgeous views. Unfortunately, as to the interior, the carpets were in desperate need of a cleaning, the master shower head was broken, the dishwasher had problems, the shower drains were clogged, and water pressure in general was poor, the screen door to the patio was stuck and wouldn't close, and we didn't end up using the sofa bed in the living room because of the poor condition of the thin, uncomfortable mattress, we ended up purchasing an air mattress instead. Once again, Sandy Beach Rentals came through for us and sent someone over to help with some of the more immediate fixes. Overall I had a wonderful vacation but I would humbly recommend the owners invest a little to make this property the beautiful, luxurious vacation spot it could be.
The unit needs a CD player and better knives in the kitchen. Parking was tough because of the small garage. Other than that, it was great.
The toilet in the master bathroom needs to be repaired. It periodically flushes. Lights throughout the house need to be checked to make sure they work.
Stay was great--just update carpet to tile or wood floors and place would be perfect!
condo was very nice. great location on the beach far enough down from hussle and bussleOnly down side was the parking! Good to have garage but hard to get in. If you have an Suv check deminsions. We have a van and just barley fit ( folding mirrors in ) One had to get out and guide the other on backing in. Optional parking was not marked very well ( not sure if open or belonged to other units.) All in all had a wonderful time.
Beautiful beachfront condo, kids had a great time. Location very quiet, away from lots of activity.
This is our 2nd year in the unit. We love the location and the unit itself. It would be nice if the unit provided a couple of chairs for the beach and other small things so you don't have to go buy (garbage bags) but all in all, it's a great time on the beach.

This condo is in a perfect location, on the boardwalk in south Mission Beach. The staff at Sandy beach rentals were very attentive and responsive. The condo itself was a little dated, but clean and comfy. A better pots, pans, cooking utensil selection would have been nice, and wireless internet would have been a great feature.Overall, a great weekend in a clean condo in a perfect spot. Thanks!

The place is in a great location for me. It is a bit run down, the carpet is badly stained, windows are rusted shut/open, dyer is rusted. I think the price is to high the lower units are going for $1000/month less.
Would be nice to have a couple of beach chairs and umbrella provided.
This property was in a very good location in a quiet area. Great View! There were several things though that we had a problem with but were fixed right away. Only complaint was there was not enough items supplied; Pitcher for tea, specialty cooking items, sheets for one of the pull outs had to be brought over and just the basics like sugar, flour, salt, pepper, extra paper towels, garbage bags, etc... We are used to having those extra already supplied! Of Course, the view did make up for a lot!
The condo was everything you promised in the advertisement on the website. We had a wonderful time.
